George's main project 2 July 2010

George's main project final painting is at an early stage
but will develop quickly. Already there is a lovely warmth
and solidity. Once the layers are built-up this will be a
very strong painting.

Michael's main project 2 July 2010

Michael's main project painting has a
fantastic palette and the brushwork is
refreshingly open and spontaneous.
Nearly there!

Belinda's main project 2 July 2010

Belinda's main project acrylic painting has
begun following some lovely study work in
oil pastel. The drawing here is nice and
loose allowing Belinda some freedom to
apply the paint without tension.

Bob's main project 2 July 2010

Bob's main project painting has great light and tonal
relationships. The careful build-up promises a good result.

Peter's main project 2 July 2010

Peter's main project painting is building up fast. The
freedom shown in the painting of Lord Grey's figure is
excellent. The colouring in the painting is mature and
heading in a good direction.

Belinda's main project 25 June 2010

Belinda's main project study is now complete. The oil
pastel work is strong and confident. Look forward to
seeing the acrylic painting.

Michael's main project 25 June 2010

Michael's main project painting is turning
into a real journey of discovery. Brilliant
to see the free abstract playfulness in
the brushwork and imagery.

Peter's main project 25 June 2010

Peter's main project painting is a large painting.
Very nice experimental underpainting - should
make for a very good final painting.

Bob's main project 25 June 2010

Bob's main project painting is developing nicely.
Lovely tonal range developing across the painting.
